01What does Aftera actually automate?
Aftera organizes connected or manually recorded digital assets, applies the policy you choose for each one, prepares provider evidence, submits supported workflows, tracks responses, retries safe failures, and shows exceptions. It does not pretend every provider supports the same action.
02Can someone falsely trigger my plan and take my assets?
A single message, inactivity signal, or trusted-person request is not enough for high-risk actions. Aftera uses independent evidence, owner challenge periods, recipient verification, policy checks, and stronger approval requirements for crypto, banking, credentials, deletion, and transfers.
03Can I cancel a trigger if it is wrong?
Yes. Trigger proposals include a challenge window and owner-veto channels. If a suspicious login, policy change, recipient change, or missing evidence is detected, sensitive workflows pause rather than continue.
04Does connecting an account mean Aftera owns it?
No. A connection gives Aftera only the permissions shown during setup. Ownership remains yours. Provider rules, your instructions, jurisdiction, and required evidence determine what can ultimately happen.
05What happens if a provider does not support transfers?
Aftera marks the action as provider-limited, prepares the correct request or evidence packet where possible, and shows the recipient the next step. It does not simulate a successful transfer.
06Can Aftera access my passwords?
Do not paste passwords into ordinary forms. Use supported OAuth, read-only connections, password-manager imports, or encrypted recovery instructions. Access scope is shown for each connection.
07What can I do with a crypto wallet?
You can record the wallet, recipient, recovery context, and desired action. High-value or irreversible actions require maximum protection, stronger evidence, recipient verification, and additional approvals.
08How does the recipient know what to do?
Recipients receive a protected, task-focused view showing what is ready, what evidence they need, which provider is involved, and what remains outside Aftera's control.
09Does Aftera replace my will or an executor?
No. Aftera is a digital execution layer. It does not replace a will, trust, probate, legal representative, bank, custodian, or provider-specific process.
10What if I change my mind?
Policies are versioned and can be edited while you are active. Sensitive changes may have a confirmation or lock period so an attacker cannot change a recipient and immediately execute a transfer.
11How do I know what is ready?
Every asset has a visible readiness state: connected, policy configured, recipient accepted, evidence ready, provider supported, or action blocked. The system should never make a silent assumption.
12Where can I learn the full model?
Read the Digital Executor guide for the product flow and the Security page for the protection model. Both explain the customer-facing behavior without exposing internal security secrets.
